Litany of Powers:
Power of wisdom.
Power of forgiveness.
Power of darkness.
Power of light.
Power of throwing in hell.
Power of becoming children of God.
Power of justice.
Power over unclean and angry spirits.
Power to be among snakes (and not to tred them).
Power to give and take own life.
Power to give life.
Power of kings.
Power over heathens.
Power to kill.
Power of closing heaven.
Power over the fourth part of the earth.
Power of locusts.
Power of Christ to cast down.
Power to continue forty and two months.
Power over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Power over fire.
Power over plagues.
Power of angel.
Power of God.
Power of strength's action.
Amen.
A remark on Power to give and take own life: This regarding crucifixion and resurrection (John 10). Bloodshed is not my cup
of kindness!
A remark on Power to kill:
Cf. Revelation 6. Bloodshed is not my cup of kindness!
Conclusion: any use of power to promote holiness is wise and any misuse
of power to demote holiness is unwise. Bloodshed is not my power.
